NYCER Design or New York City Exterior Restoration Design is a one-stop structural engineering and architectural design firm located in NYC, providing a full suite of best-in-class building consultation services for residential, commercial, and institutional projects ranging from the incorporation of structural design engineering with facade inspection, to reporting, to complete construction management.
What is FISP 8 Cycle filing?
FISP 8 Cycle or Facade Inspection Safety Program Cycle 8 began in February of 2015 and will end on February 2019 where all buildings in New York City above 6 stories height, under the Local Law 11, are required to file inspection of their exterior walls, fire escapes, railings, and anything that is attached to the exterior of the building to ensure safety conditions.
When does my building have to file for FISP?
The FISP Cycle 8 shows the filing date of the building basing from the last number of the Block#.
– Filing Window Sub-Cycle A: Last Digit of Block # 4, 5, 6 or 9 – February 21, 2015 to February 21, 2017
– Filing Window Sub-Cycle B: Last Digit of Block # 0, 7 or 8 – February 21, 2016 to February 21, 2018
– Filing Window Sub-Cycle C: Last Digit of Block # 1, 2 or 3 – February 21, 2017 to February 21, 2019
What is a Free No-Penalty Inspection?
Free No-Penalty Inspection is DOB’s Annual inspection program that allows business owners/property owners to have a free DOB inspection where DOB will provide guidance on any issues that need to be fixed without issuing any violations or penalties on them allowing owners to make corrective repairs on building exterior. Owners just need to call 311 anytime in the month of May for this year 2022.
